JTG 0 Posted August 12, 2009
He was and probably still is a good keeper. I wish him luck too.
Comparatively, I suppose ;)But seriously, coming from a keeper(ish) myself, he''s not a very good keeper.
? 20 Posted August 12, 2009 Of course he is.Makes some cracking saves, and kept us in so many games last season.Unfortunately he also made some awful howlers. But then, playing behind that back four is hardly going to fill him with confidence, is it?Good luck to him.
GarethGardner 0 Posted August 12, 2009 Im a Cardiff fan. What we have seen of him so far, he has been brilliant. He only conced 2 goals in 6 games in pre-season, both againt Valencia. And hes yet to concede in the league as of the clean sheet against Scunthorpe. So far he looks a bargain and is keeping Peter Enckelman out of the team comfortably. We havnt had a settled keeper since Neil Alexander and we are hoping this is our man. God luck in the league. Hope you stay up. It makes me wonder if you would have conceded 7 with Marshall in goal mind

We saw him at least 23 times in a season and he made some errors which he got slated for. He was decent on crosses and made some excellent saves.Being a keeper yourself you will know better than most that confidence in your back four and coping with the crowds reactions play a big part in determining your form.Playing for us last season or probably the last few seasons can''t have been easy. crab 0 Posted August 12, 2009 Sorry Gareth. You''ve been sold a real dud there. But you''re not alone; you should see what Hartlepool palmed off onto us!Come back at the end of the season and let us know if you still think he''s brilliant!

No goalkeeper could have coped playing in front of our defence. Am sure he will do well for you.
Jonzey 0 Posted August 12, 2009 Goes to show how much Norwich have slipped. To even get in a sh*t Scotland side you have to leave and join Cardiff. Bloody Cardiff??!!
Mr. Bump 0 Posted August 12, 2009 We probably sold him too cheap. Hope he has a shocker otherwise it would make it even worse business for us.

The Fish Seller 0 Posted August 12, 2009
4-0 defeat to Norway. Well done Marshy. Supposing he played ;) Need to see the goals yet to be fair.
First one no chance. Wicked deflection from 20 yard free kick centre of goal.2nd one extra time first half belter from Pederson 1 yard from penalty spot into corner. Again no real chance.3rd one Carew broke into box shot cleared Marshall bounced off one posyt onto the other and out straight into the path of the only Norwegian in the box.4th one didn''t come for it carew knocked it in off the bar Marshall clawed it back out. Goal but not given.5th one free kick from 20 yards dead centre of goal. If Clingan had scored it you''d have said unstoppable. (last year anyway).Few Marshall flaps at crosses including two corners that nearly went in.Not a convincing performance by our ex ''keeper but the team were ripped apart by the sending off after 30 mins and the goal that ensued from the free kick.
