InLambertWeTrust! 0 Posted August 8, 2009 Went to the match full of hope and expectation that we would win the match but from the 2nd bad decision that the ref gave I knew it wasnt going to be our day. Why oh why did I boo Lisbie? Theoklitos- was absolutely woeful. My best mate would have been better than that clown today, and he cant even get into the mens team we play for! At the end when the ball came across from the col utd winger infront of him and he just stood there motionless. Drury- exposed because wes had the role of roaming the pitch, wasnt the worst by any means.Doherty- he seems to have gotten worse throughout pre season! I thought this was football- not bloody wrestling!Nelson- slow, no better than Doh! in all honestly. .Otsemobor- bit of pace, some nice balls forward but at the end of the day we lost 7-1. Average is fair i think?Was let down by Whaley throughout the game which helped not one jot.Whaley- crossing was terrible and left J.O exposed so many times it was like watching crofty! Shooting was well... this is a family forum..Gill- didnt notice him, which just about says it all.Hoolahan- one of the very few to have any sort of credit and even then he wasnt better than average. Bit of creativity but clue-less team mates are never going to help are they?OTJ- tackled a few times, lost the ball lots, not all he was cracked up to be on this showing.Holt- poor lad ran his socks off, i like him. Martin- lots of effort but no-where near effective enough when Col Utd just sat behind the ball after the flurry of goals. Likewise with Holt.Needs to get a whole lot better, that much is obvious. Whether it does or not we''ll have to see. Well done on the guys who threw their season tickets at Gunny. Apparently they''ll be banned from NCFC matches in future. Lucky old them!! How can anyone get away with playing a backpass like that for the first?! Theoklitos was at fault for not punching, but he had to make a decision based on the terrible pass. He couldn''t come out and get it, it could and would have bounced over him. Owain Tudur Jones looked disinterested after 30 minutes. Lacklustre to say the least.
