Hartson battles on and is "getting stronger"

Recommended Posts

Hope the big man pulls through; it''s only the start but after the initial shock of the diagnosis, any progress is encouraging.

Unfortunately it''s generally not, but it can happen.  I had cervical cancer and survived, lot''s of people have different types of cancer and can survive.  It''s not good to generalise, unless of course you are a specialist in Oncology?

[/quote]Were you told it was terminal?  Hartson has it in his lungs and brain,  they''ve told him there''s nothing they can do,  in these instances he has been told how long he''ll have left.  Except of course try to prolong how long he has left by chemo etc.  The operation he had was basically relieving pressure.  Therefore most people generally perk up and get a second wind, rather than lay down and give up straight away.
