Captain Holt 580 Posted July 29, 2009 Ok I Will. Pre-Season Doesn''t Mean That Much Though Does It? Just Gives Gunny A Last Chance To Look At Some Trialist''s Etc.
rjwc22 0 Posted July 29, 2009 I think the team that started against Palace is pretty much the first choice one. No doubt against Wigan Gunny will try a few other players and give them a chance to shine but agree that this will be a hard game and one we are likely to lose. Should not let that put a dampener on what has been a very good run of pre-season results.

Its all about trying different things when the pressure''s off, and with a view to sorting out the best combination. As long as we perform against Wigan Gunny won''t care too much about the result. Also, possibly Wiggins ahead of Drury?
Jim Smith 2,610 Posted July 29, 2009 I think it would be a real shame if we lost all our momentum through getting a hiding off Wigan on Saturday! Maybe we should just call it off before their 2 fans set off on the long journey!
First Wizard 0 Posted July 29, 2009 Our performance is far more important than the results in friendlies, staying injury free helps too.
