Shrewsbury Town: "No knowledge of an approach by Norwich City"

That is according to the press officer who believes he would know.  He says that only one club have made an approach for permission to speak to Holt and that was Colchester who were told to go away.   You need "permission to speak" because he is under contract. 

 

Holt is expected to play some part in Shrews friendly v WBA tonight as he continues his return to match fitness.

I''m not entirely sure why the press office would know either, not sure our press office know all about the transfer goings on.

Be interesting to see if he plays tonight, if he does I think that would suggest he''s not imminently arriving at City, and perhaps not at all.
