ROBFLECK 132 Posted July 25, 2009 A grafter and a strong figure up front. There''s no flair involved maybe but he works his socks of apparantly and has a good eye for goal. Sort of player we need in league one. Quite happy, but like you say shaun I''m more positive about Hughes and Whaley signings.
WeAreYellows49 0 Posted July 25, 2009 Happy''ish, will be able to judge more when i''ve seen him play as part of our squad [:)]

pete_norw 0 Posted July 26, 2009 No pleaseing some folk, he came on yesterday with minutes left on the clock, had two good solid attempts only to be stopped by a very good top class young Man u prospect in goal, had hs started he may have had the 2 Cureton missed in the first half. Next season we won''t be playing Man U reserves every Saturday
Bungay Canary 0 Posted July 26, 2009 didnt cureton score for fun at colchester its the knack of supplying the service to these players strenghts cureton was never going to score with all the hoof ball we played
Mister Chops 7 Posted July 26, 2009
cureton was never going to score if he played until doomsday
Exactly my point.
Syteanric 1 Posted July 26, 2009 Holt is a good league 1 and league 2 striker.. ok so he might shockingly crap in the championship.. but we aint in that league anymore! im happy he''s here and if he takes us up then good... we can cross the bridge of if he''s good enough when we come to it.jas :)
norwich-red 0 Posted July 27, 2009
Ive got a few forest mates, and they were gutted we signed him!! They said he shouldnt have left forest, but ill wait and see what hecomes up with!
You''ve got a good signing there for this level, make no mistake but as a Forest fan I am certainly not gutted. Have your Forest mates been paying attention to who Forest have been signing this close season? Blackstock, McColdrick, Adebola to name but three (and that in addition to an already not to shabby Earnshaw / Tyson)! Our useless former manager (see what magic he''s currently weaving at Newcastle) Calderwood played him way out of position so as long as he''s played up front I reckon you''ll be seeing a good promotion push this year. Not sure how good he''ll be in the Championship though ...
