KCanary 0 Posted July 27, 2009 Went to the Man Utd match on Saturday and passed the main entrance where MWJ and a what looked like chinese business man (ok, i have no confirmation he was a business man before someone slates me!) were outside. I overheard MWJ talking about the land opposite to him. It looked/sounded like he was trying to promote the club to the man.Best state, im not trying to start rumours, but thought you would all be interested in what i saw. It''s good to see that maybe we are working to get investment. So if we get taken over by a far eastern consortium, you heard it here first, if we don''t.......MWJ didn''t do a good enough selling job!CheersKCanary

Iwan is God 0 Posted July 27, 2009 Delia & hubby were entertaining a Far Eastern Gentleman with a view to getting him (and a partner) to ‘Invest’. Under what terms is not clear though.

Last series saw the celebrated ''chef'' informing viewers how to put oven chips on a baking tray. In this series we''ll see her ringing through a takeaway order before instructing us on how to get a plate and cutlery from the kitchen drawer. The accompanying ''cook book'' will contain the telephone numbers and menus for the local chinese restaurants. It is believed that profits from her latest venture will be used to extend Jamie Cureton''s contract. Iwan is God 0 Posted July 27, 2009
Where did you hear this please Iwan is God?
The reason I didn''t name my source is because it''s not exactly water tight!! My Colleague''s wife works at Carrow Road & this is what she heard on Saturday.I didn''t really think much of it because Delia probably asks for investment a lot. However, when the investment is merely a donation & nothing more (due to Delia being unwilling to sell up) nothing much is bound to materialise!

SNAP 0 Posted July 27, 2009 I heard he was looking to build a "Eat all you like" buffet inside Carrow Road following the return of Paul McVeigh. The only space available was that green bit in the middle of the existing restaurants so that was under consideration with "the football stuff" being moved into the Car Park that was originally going to be for more flats - until someone pointed out that Norwich now has more flats than residents.Source?Sweet and Sour please!
