what is the norwich board playing at ?

Recommended Posts

forgive me if im wrong the amount of transfer targets we have heard and still no striker .

if it is true dickinson has been sold to brighton for 100k and norwich can not compete with that then simply what is going on ..?

the sale of marshall and foulgers matching funds and rebates not claimed i feel something is a miss somewhere .

everyone is saying money is going to player budget yet with the amount of loan players returning to thier parent clubs surely the wage bill would have dropped to the level of what we neede to be at .

so where is the money gone .

has the board once again pulled a fast one .

i hope im proved wrong but something does not tally here .

Of course they have because they know they can and to top it off get away with it,The moment the deadline past for the rebate Gunny during an interview mumbled out a sentence along the lines of (coughcoughsomeofthecoughcoughmoneyisalreadyaccountedcoughcoughfor, withsigningscoughcoughalreadymadecoughcough)which told you kiss good bye to ya money straight away.

I have never known people to piss take so often and have the front to keep repeating the process.

I know the clock was donated back to the club but who paid for the referb & instarllation? know it''s a simple piece of equipment but  labours cranes etc aint cheap.

I don''t believe for a second that the price is anywhere near 100k, much more likely to be up of 500 k including add ons

Yes and we bid two smaller bids than the £300,000 DOWNPAYMENT offered by flaming Brighton.

But they think its 100k and now believe it to be 100k.

So now they can moan, that we cant even go in a bidding war, with Brighton !!!!!!!!!

As the Brighton bid ( from Cam ) is believed to be 500k, with 350k down, does not matter.

All they see is 100k and we didnt bid that high.

Really is a shame people on here, always wanting to spend money when we dont have much, so have to pick our players carefully.

Rebate money seems to have gone missing , well after all the multi millions to vanish mysteriously from this club a few hundred thousand was never going to be a problem .

Not the point ?. The point is that it once again highlights the clubs lack of ambition. Lauging stock.

Sod off Delia & Co

he was rated 750k last year .

he is not that old either the point is we will be lucky to spend 350k so how does a club with such a low gate come in and just oubid us to start with .

surely we must have wanted to buy this player for us to put a bid in to start with instead a rival team who should not have as much clout has gone in for him and he has signed .

brighton are welcome to him, 300k for a player that has been playng senior level football since 2002 and has scored 56 gaols since 2002, wow wat a damn shame we missed out on such a prolific striker, jeez get a grip, id rather pay the 300k on securing the likes of a decent winger who can cross the ball in for the strikers weve already got and have some left over to pay for a signing on fee for powell,

to be honest i dont expect anyone will come in for a fee, this is because i believe we have no money available, or gunn is being shrewd in thinking what fund he has if needed to would be used to bolster the squad come january,

wat ever happens tho, i am hoping fingers crossed we do have a gem amongst the trialist, and hopefully well sign powell, looks a handy player,

Here''s a clue, it might bring you up to speed;

On May 18, 2009, Bloom succesfully became chairman of Brighton & Hove Albion, suceeding Dick Knight after securing 75% shareholding in the club and investing £93 million in to the clubs new stadium Falmer

In direct response to the OP, the board are doing their usual bluff. They make derisory offers to clubs, knowing full well that they are nowhere near the clubs'' valuation, make it known in the media (helpful now that they have Archant on board as it were) that they are interested and act all crestfallen when beaten to a signature.

Trouble is, this time they didn''t bank on Derby telling whoever wanted to know that the offers made for Dickinson extraced the urine. Rumbled!!!

Laughing stock, joke club, any other such descriptive. Thats what Delia and her cronies have turned NCFC into.
