Dr. Ink 0 Posted July 15, 2009 BM&Fries, I was just about to post the same! Big and Powerful Canaries! Are Raith Rovers comprised of midgets that make Cureton, Craig and McVeigh look like giants, or is Gunn actually doing what Roeder talked about, by getting more powerful athletes? SNAP 0 Posted July 15, 2009
.......doing what Roeder talked about, by getting more powerful athletes?
To be fair the trend was started by Worthington and persists in the Academy and FITC today. "Give me big powerful athletes and I''ll teach them to recognise a football......"
Minster Canary 0 Posted July 15, 2009 I think having one real presence in every part of the field is essential in todays game. Theokolis is 6''1 I believe, you wouldn''t want to mess with Nelson at the back. OTJ, well, he''s just a beast, and obviously we need that real presence up top.Lee, Dickinson or Bishop would do for me.
