Canary Man of Kent 0 Posted July 16, 2009 Anyone else think he could be a really good player for us this season? I''ve been very impressed with his attitude so far in pre season and he''s shown that he''s a pretty decent passer of the ball.If andy Hughes can cut it at Leeds, patty can definitely cut it in league 1. At the moment it would be between patty and gill for me come 8th august alongside tudur-jones.
canaryjock 0 Posted July 16, 2009 Patty proved that he can cut it (to a degree!) at Championship level therefore he should be good at L1 level. We need good competition in the squad so yes, keep him in my opinion.
rjwc22 0 Posted July 16, 2009 I think he will be given a chance, let''s hope he takes it this time!

Its only my opinion 0 Posted July 16, 2009 i would like to see him here.. is younge.i wouldn''t agree he a decent passer of the ball yet he did do a gd thro ball yest and the cross for the goal was ok... he does seem to like to get forward n hit a ball which i like. i think he could chip in with a few goals from midfield which will be needed next year. Its only my opinion 0 Posted July 16, 2009 would keep him as a squad player as he versitile
Bury Yellow 2 Posted July 16, 2009 He has this unhappy knack of the misplaced pass I know, but I''m with the others. He could be a great success this season and if you need someone by your side when the going gets tough, I can''t think of a better player in our squad.Oh and he did play well when he came on at Dartford.I''d be pleased if we keep him. CANARY CHARGE 0 Posted July 16, 2009 in this league..defo!!! Gunn needs to sort hisattitude and he will begood for us!!
Canary Man of Kent 0 Posted July 16, 2009 With regard to his passing, I think it is good when he''s being positive with it, i.e. the final ball. I agree he does make a few silly mistakes when making the easier passes in the middle of the pitch. However, he is a better player and a better passer than Andy Hughes was so I think he''ll do well in league 1.
Yelloow Since 72 56 Posted July 16, 2009 Yes, he does need to be better with his passing but it''s worth pointing out that he also laid on the cross for the goal!
