ncfclad 0 Posted July 19, 2009 I am always positive before a season and I really admire Bryan Gunn and really want it to work well (And I have more insentive as my father who sadly passed away always used to go on about Bryan Gunn being a good manager, this was 5 years or so ago).BUT I think people are getting a bit carried away. We have signed players from clubs whos fans didnt rate like Tudor-Jones, Nelson, Whaley and usually fans opinions are not far wrong. Obviously I hope im proved wrong. As for the friendlies apart from St Johnstone, we have beaten teams that we SHOULD be beating!I think Gunny has done well so far, but I thought the same of Roeder last year when he bought in the likes of Hoolahan, Clingan, Bertrand, Bell and Stefanovic. I seriously thought we were gonna contend with the playoffs. So all I say lets get behind Gunny, but not expect miracles and not to expect us to be going and winning game after game next season. The most important things is to support Gunny and the boys
James Kent 0 Posted July 19, 2009 That in itself is an encouraging sign.We haven''t beaten sides we should beat in a long time.We will come up against a lot of sides this season we should beat.
