CanaryJames 0 Posted July 20, 2009 If we really want another keeper (I''ve got no idea why we would), then why are we looking at someone who wasn''t good enough for us years ago, and hasn''t been good enough for a number of other teams since.With the greatest respect to Lee-Barrett, we may as well be looking at someone like Alan Mannus if we''re that desperate. He''d be a more than steady back-up to Theoklitos, although is on trial at Bristol City at the moment unfortunately.Still, no reason why we can''t steal him...did that with Maric. He is going to be our 3rd choice keeper and will probably never make a 1st team appearance. Who are you expecting Van der Sar? Buffon?
