Minster Canary 0 Posted July 15, 2009 I think Simon could be a good signing for us, this is good news.
PhatCanary 0 Posted July 15, 2009 Not a swap deal by the look of it,a straight cash deal!! What side does he play on?
Minster Canary 0 Posted July 15, 2009 He''s a right winger, PC.
super dave 0 Posted July 15, 2009 If the price is right then it definately should be a good piece of business
Lincs CR 0 Posted July 15, 2009 Presuming we aren''t over paying for him, very good addition to the squad
AJ 1,218 Posted July 15, 2009
Presuming we aren''t over paying for him, very good addition to the squad
Agreed, a good player, at the right price. Fantastic addition if he signs!
Evil Monkey 52 Posted July 15, 2009 The words ''Norwich'' and ''Fee'' don''t compute this season.... brain overload!

Canary_on_the Trent 0 Posted July 15, 2009 Good signing imo, hasn''t quite fulfilled the early promise at Preston but there is talent there, some much needed pace down the right flank
norky84 0 Posted July 15, 2009 I''d expect the fee to be higher then you think. Maybe around 500k? I hope you haven''t got any Casinos in your area. Whaley is a BIG gambler. Very glad that he is leaving us. Big time Charlie attitude, and only played well during one two month spell and that is it.
Jumpers for Goalposts 0 Posted July 15, 2009 Could be a good signing. I think he is one of those players that always seemed to well when playing against us.
KCanary 0 Posted July 15, 2009 How do you pronounce his name? is it whale-y? I keep saying it as Wall-e like the disney character! Good luck making up a chant for him!
singing canary 0 Posted July 15, 2009 that was my thought i was about to have another rant as i should imagine bridges will be the striker as he is a freebie
missing in action? 0 Posted July 15, 2009 he has played rigt back and CM in the past too.he is a good player and this would be the first signing to actually please me.
Yellow Wal 314 Posted July 15, 2009 Dos this mean the experiment in playing Otsemobor on the right wing at Raith was less than impressive? So what is his future now?
norky84 0 Posted July 15, 2009 Trust me he is poor! I can''t imagine the last time he played well for us. He was poor on loan at Barnsley as well. He has played at right back when we''ve been desperate. There''s not a cat in hells chance he will play in centre midfield. Any sign of a physical battle and Whaley becomes a shirker, and will not be seen all game.

ref89 0 Posted July 15, 2009 Well lets wait and see. I am sure it is a nominal fee, and we any inclusion on the right wing is better than our current options there!
norky84 0 Posted July 15, 2009 I hope we don''t get Russell!!!
Desert Fox 0 Posted July 15, 2009 Lets hope he works out for us. Whats the betting that it is an undisclosed fee and planty of spinning by Board apologists to give the impression that this is where most of the rebate money has gone?

MoCamara 0 Posted July 15, 2009 Having read this forum religiously over the past month to get news of transfers, the posters on here have really baffled me. When we sign a player that the previous clubs have rated (Gill) or are tipped for future international captaincy (OTJ), who i am very optimistic about i must say, then you all moan. Yet here we have a player who both by Norky on here, and by all the PNE fans on the original link to their forum when the news broke, can''t wait to see the back of him. SO WHY ARE PEOPLE PLEASED WITH THIS SIGNING! Please, somebody enlighten me.
Yelloow Since 72 54 Posted July 15, 2009 I think I read somewhere that he usually plays on the right but can play left wing as well. Could be useful.

Whaley isn''t gonna help out Otsemobor, and that''s gonna make the defense worse too.Terrible signing.
