Having just seen him at the game, I think WLY is worth a punt, he was never fast but he has not lost pace, and you can see he still has the ability to do something - I would argue more than Hoolahan.

IMO the problem with WLY was never ability, it was that he all too often didn''t seem to put the effort in unless his contract was up or something. I wouldn''t particularly have a problem with getting him back, if the contract was ''right'' (short-term/heavilu weighted to performance).
