Surely a good gesture from Foulger now would be

Recommended Posts

Mr Foulger is entitled to do what he likes with his money. However as an incompetent member of the NCFC board he tells everyone he has £1.1M that he is ready to give to he club but tries to use that information to guilt-trip supporters into claiming their rebate. That way he makes himself look even more of a bufoon by not giving what he was prepared to give.

As for the idiots on here who try to claim some bogus moral high ground about not claiming their rebates that is their right but it is also an equal right TO claim the rebate. If NCFC couldn''t afford the rebate why offer it in the first place? Answer? to get nearly 19000 ST holders to renew. If the rebate hadn''t been offered many more would most likely have waited to see what level we''d be playing at and when it became clear it was third division football may well not have renewed at all.

This incompetent crap board wants its cake and to eat it too. Well two-thirds of its loyal support have now sent them a message, thank God!!!

I was thinking of this, i thought at the begining, why can''t he give this ammount anyway, if he has the money and is willing to give it (well he probably new he would not have to match 18,000 peoples rebate money). If he did this, the dispise of Delia and the rest of the board (who ever else there is) would be even greater, it would be all ''why can''t delia give another million or two''.Im not going to support her, as i think this club has not been run that well, but she has given a lot of her money up, she is a millionaire, but not a billionaire, like some people seem to think/would like her to be, im not sure on exact figures she has given either, but i belive it is quite a lot.
Why should foulger fork out more money, when 66% of our supporters didn''t....don''t be a hypocrite
Because he had already indicated that he had a million to spare.
No he didn''t, he pledged to match any unclaimed rebates. That does not mean he had "a million to spare"
I very much doubt any prediction would have envisaged all supporters leaving their rebate unclaimed, 50% was probably a more realistic best case scenario.

The sheer arrogance of people who had a chance to make a difference to our transfer budget but chose not to because of petty spite towards the (admittedly sub standard) board then lambasting Foulger for doing exactly what he pledged is astounding.

You''ve got some front, you really have.
Exactly, 100% spot on.

Its nothing but personal spite........ "message sent"............ for what purpose?  What will it achieve?

NOTHING.

It won''t change a thing except........... reduce our chances of promotion by having a smaller playing budget.

It''s strange that groups like NCISA and its supporters never even mention promotion. Do they even care?

It seems they would actually be happy if Gunn failed and the club failed.

Since the formation of NCISA fourteen years ago in 1995 we have celebrated promotion once but now relegation three times(albeit once under the previous regime) and you claim we "never mention promotion".See a pattern developing do we?

Yes, we do care about promotion and that is why at the last share issue we purchased a small number of shares and £1000 of prefernce B shares as well.

Can you just give it a rest about NCISA as it rather boring and tedious.Your views about NCISA are well documented on here.

It''s telling that you failed to mention if you would actually be happy if we achieved promotion!

If you care about promotion then come up with ideas/campaigns/agendas that will help the club achieve that goal.

The NCISA rebate press releases achieved nothing but making our first team budget smaller.

How that is going to help our chances of promotion?

Its no fluke that the teams with largest crowds/budgets in LG1 tend to be at the top of the table challenging for the playoffs.

As already pointed out the average yearly transfer spend in LG 1 is around 250K.

The point is if claiming the rebate is seen as sending a "monatary message" to the board then so is renewing season tickets in incredible numbers.

According to the board at the AGM they are clueless, even asked the shareholders for ideas.  One thing I will give them credit for is the new CEO, he certainly seems to be sorting the wheat from the chaff, and boy is there a lot of chaff at the club.

That''s because shareholders have a vested financial interest in the business in which they hold shares!
