blahblahblah 2 Posted June 27, 2009 Bloody Norfolk show.Everyone west of Norwich who uses the A47, and has to work for a living in Norwich will be stuck in a traffic jam for 2 hours getting to work, probably on one of the hottest days of the year too. And all because half the county acts like they haven''t seen a cow for 12 months.

beachbum 0 Posted June 29, 2009 I got dragged along by Mrs Beachbum a couple of years ago, after not going for ages. Its full of market stalls, food stalls , craft fairs, uninteresting main ring events, gymkhanas, and assorted farming machinery and livestock. I am Norfolk born and bred , but know nothing about farming and dont want to.Radio Snorefolk goes on about it as if its something fantastic that the whole County goes to.They dont, probably only about 12% turn out. ......and Smith must score. 1,311 Posted July 1, 2009 If you''re NOT going to the b*oody Royal Norfolk Show then steer clear of the A47........Got caught there for an hour this morning at 9.30 driving into Norwich. Queue built up on the Norwich side of the Dereham by-pass and it was stop-start-stop from then on until we reached the Southern by-pass. Nightmare. Can''t understand why they''re encouraging kids to visit on a weekday. Most of them should be at school so perhaps the truant officers should have a good swan round the site. Be like shooting fish in a barrel........
