Old Shuck 182 Posted June 16, 2009 When Grant was appointed as our Manager, he made a great play of how ambitions he was, mangerially speaking, and that his ultimate ambition was to manage Celtic. If he had done so well with us that he went via Norwich, I''d have been delighted-however, after his failings here, and low key appointment at West Brom, who were relegated, I suspect he felt that "going home" was never going to happen and that his dreams were all but over. Now, as an old boy, if he an impact there, then, by the time Mowbray moves on, he could well be the next Celtic Manager!Darren Ferguson for West Brom, with Bothroyd getting back in the game at Peterborough. canary cherub 1 Posted June 16, 2009 Peter Grant didn''t apply for the Norwich job. We approached him, for whatever reason, and when it clearly wasn''t working out at least he had the grace to admit it and resign. He''s gone back to coaching which is what he''s good at. Good luck to him, he must be over the moon to be back at Celtic.
