Re: Smith - Turkey advice causes outrage!
Considering she''s getting a CBE, I assume some people take her seriously. Do you not have anything better to do than dig up 6 month/20 month old articles about Delia Smith (from the Sun and the Mail too...)?

Given that she is in the privilaged position of being custodian of our football club, it is most interesting to read about the various controversies she has caused in her ''specialist'' field! Seems as though her world is crumbling around her!
Yes, I''m sure it''s hugely interesting to read about various "controversies" that the UK tabloids have drummed up. Anyway try posting this here.

It''s understandable people are frustrated with the football club at the moment but this nasty insidious miliciousness toward Delia Smith is rather evil and a little unnerving; really not needed.

Tell me, does anyone connected with football or cookery take this woman seriously anymore?

Cookery yes.  She''s a very capable "cookery demonstrator" as my mother puts it - she teaches people how to cook.  She''s not a chef and doesn''t pretend to be.  I used to own one of her books but threw it in the bin to express my disgust at the sacking of Mike Walker.  I rather regret it now, it had a very good recipe for kedgeree . . .

The evidence of her capability (or lack of it) as a football club owner speaks for itself.  There''s no need to, err, "over-egg the pudding" by dragging up irrelevant rubbish like this.

Have to agree with you there cc,apart from the kedgeree comment! There is no such thing as a good recipe for that muck....[+o(]

At the end of the day its common sense...something that doesn''t prevail much these days.

In the winter months (usually the time people have turkey) the temperature of the boot of a car or a garden shed is the same if not less than a fridge. (Food standards say your fridge should be between 3-5 degrees celcius)

The author of this post wants nothing more than to stir **** amongst people who dislike Delia Smith, I must admit I have become less of a fan in recent months, but this advice is sound and honest so get over it.
