Does anyone know if he has any interest in Football and whether he might be prepared to put a little (or a lot) our way. Ex-greenoschin 0 Posted June 19, 2009 As wealthy as he is having sold Lind 3 years ago for £100m + he has never shown any interest in football in the 9 years I worked for him and having been stung with the closure of the Used car site in Ber Street and Porsche dealership a couple of weeks ago I very much doubt it.He made his money from property initially and is an astute business man. Apart from the top 4 clubs in the Premiership I don''t think you plough money in to the local football club unless you are a real fan of it or can see a distinct financial advantage in the land or property - which from a fans perspective, is not what we would want!!
