Les 0 Posted June 20, 2009 yeah, as I said earlier, before Notcutts sold off some land for housing, Daniels Nurseries occupied virtually all of both sides of Daniels Road, maybe I was slightly wrong about that particular corner which is the sports fields
Crome Canary 0 Posted June 20, 2009 While unsuccessfully searching the Plunkett''s wonderful archive (http://www.georgeplunkett.co.uk/Website/index.htm) for pictures of the Nest, I stumbled upon a photograph of Carrow Road, taken on 14 September 1935. Our opponents that day were Leicester City, who beat us 2-1.http://dtnlpkrd.homelinux.net/Megapics/Colour/Carrow%20Rd%20football%20ground%20car%20park%20COLOUR%20[0759]%201935-09-14.jpg

shefcanary 2,385 Posted June 21, 2009 i was disappointef on a recent visit to the city that the old dressing rooms at newmarket road had finally been demolished. for many years they had been the groundsmans shed. i think thry were still in use in the 90''s the last bit of the old ground.
