Spartan 0 Posted June 5, 2009 Delia ''Prudence'' Smith and her very best friends at the EDP will now start wheeling out cronies such as Rioch to assure us that Gunny has the ability and potential to ensure a rapid return to the Championship, but of course he will need time! How much time will the talented ex club ambassador and city sheriff require? Presumably enough time to drop a couple of more divisions and then carry out a major rebuilding exercise, starting with signings from the Anglian Combination. It is very encouraging that our new (well nearly) manager is recieving ringing endorsements from such powerful figures in the game, and that he has been so active and effective in bringing news faces to the club in the closed season. Obviously we can all look forward to dynamic and exciting times in Division 3!!!????

CanaryOne 0 Posted June 5, 2009 Yes it is absolutely pathetic , Delia wheels out one of her old cronies to big up the lost cause that is Bryan Gunn . Gunn has the right credentials and should have been given a 5 year contract , what complete rubbish Gunn has NO credentials and has proved he cannot manage a football team , 5 year contract 5 mins of this fool of a manager is 5 minutes to much . Crafty Canary 495 Posted June 5, 2009 Yet another failed battered trout crony wheeled out to big up the Odd-Job man. Can''t be long before the success that was Bryan Hamilton is giving us the benefit of his expertise.

To put a bit of perspective on this - anything coming from the club is spin - and any thought you have is fact. How is it derived?, you make observations, add a bit of conjecture and hey presto you have spun a fact that suits your purpose. As a regular fence sitter I don''t know whether you lot or the Board are worst!! The Chirp 0 Posted June 5, 2009 i am absolutley amazed by some of the comments on here... there are some really twisted minds that ''contribute'' on this board who only see the negatives in everything. it''s pretty sad.
Crafty Canary 495 Posted June 5, 2009 No sadder than those who only see the wonder of our board.
CanaryOne 0 Posted June 5, 2009 Is there a bigger negative than Gunn , his appointment turned this club into a laughing stock and however many people they drag out to tell us he is the man we know he is not and we would be better off with a football manager in charge. Devils Advocate. 0 Posted June 5, 2009 Not certain that Bruce Rioch is a Delia croney, didn''t she say that she wanted the wonderful Bryan Hamilton as manager in the first place?
Yellow Wal 314 Posted June 5, 2009 Why the hell would Bruce Rioch do anything at all for Delia after the way he was treated by her when that ex-Ipswich idiot Hamilton took over as manager of the club? Perhaps when we are looking for times when things started to go sour we should look at the record of Hamilton at the club and he was the man who persuaded Delia to get rid of Rioch so that he could take over and cock things up. So, again, why should Rioch do anything for Delia? Take it as it is .... a professional''s opinion of a situation that he now sees the club in.
