This page is full of speculation.Fact or fiction. It is a fact that whilst we go down two ex Youth products considered by the experts in charge of the club not good enough to retain, sail forward with their respective clubs into the Championship. The Peterborough goal keeper is well known. A Roeder Blunder. Why oh why was Paul Hayes of Scunthorpe not given a contract, people who should have known better retained Henderson and he has sailed into obscurity. Hopefully the youth of today will be given a fairer deal

Everytime Hayes has played at Championship level he''s been very poor. Good league one player, but we couldnt have kept him all this time in case we played league 1 football

Lewis would not have been given a single game behind Marshall, the only option would have been loaning him to Peterborough, but then why would he want to play for us in L1 rather than in the CCC? Furthermore, we have Rudd...

Hayes Goals scoring and assists ability at youth level was top class and still is.

Hayes goals record at professional level is not a good as you make out 34apps + 8 as sub,8 goals in the championship in 2007-08 and they had Paterson alongside him who works his backside off for the team., 2006-07 27 apps + 6 sub, 5 goals, 2005-06 46apps + 5 sub and 13goals, Agreed he does have a really good record in league 2 and he''s just had a good season scoring 17 goals in 45apps and 5 subs.

We have done the Hayes topic to death now. He left, hasn''t set the world on fire has he? Besides, slightly loose, but he did help us get promoted, if he had stayed, then knowing the board, they would have got Hucks etc a year later[:D]
