hardley 0 Posted May 28, 2009 This page is full of speculation.Fact or fiction. It is a fact that whilst we go down two ex Youth products considered by the experts in charge of the club not good enough to retain, sail forward with their respective clubs into the Championship. The Peterborough goal keeper is well known. A Roeder Blunder. Why oh why was Paul Hayes of Scunthorpe not given a contract, people who should have known better retained Henderson and he has sailed into obscurity. Hopefully the youth of today will be given a fairer deal

Goals win matches[/quote]Hayes goals record at professional level is not a good as you make out 34apps + 8 as sub,8 goals in the championship in 2007-08 and they had Paterson alongside him who works his backside off for the team., 2006-07 27 apps + 6 sub, 5 goals, 2005-06 46apps + 5 sub and 13goals, Agreed he does have a really good record in league 2 and he''s just had a good season scoring 17 goals in 45apps and 5 subs. Besides, slightly loose, but he did help us get promoted, if he had stayed, then knowing the board, they would have got Hucks etc a year later[:D]
