Troy Deeney is an English footballer. He currently plays for Walsall and is a striker. He has also played for Halesowen Town in a successful loan period during the 2006-2007 season. He attended Archbishop Grimshaw Secondary School, and Corpus Christi and also St Anne''s Primary School. He also trained in bricklaying at Carillion Construction College in Erdington. His best childhood friend was Jamie Cartlidge who attended school with him. Troy went every where with Jamie, his mother Lisa Cartlidge and his sister Shannon Cartlidge. They went on holiday every where together. They were the best of friends.Troy used to love Shannon and Jamie and he still remembers every thing they did together. Troy is currently having a baby with his girl friend.

[edit] Playing Career

He scored his first professional competitive goal for the Saddlers against Millwall, in September 2007 assisting Walsall to a 2-1 win.

His goal against Millwall turned out to be his only goal of the 2007-2008 season, and the 2008-2009 season started similarly for him, only managing 2 goals in the first half of the season. However, the introduction of Chris Hutchings as manager coincided with Deeney finding a goalscoring touch. Helped by the fact his new manager started playing him in his favoured striking position, instead of on the right-wing as Jimmy Mullen had being doing, Deeney has scored 9 goals in Hutchings'' first 12 games in charge.

I personally think this confirms your lack of knowledge of League One Football,

if you do follow League One football you will know Troy is excellent prospect in this League and has had scouts from Wolves, Villa & Albion watching him last Season

Would be Terrific signing for you guys, Walsall renowned promoting youngsters and selling them under face value

[/quote]LOL. That''s exactly what I thought. What a bunch of useless tripe! I suppose Deeney''s unemployed  and semi-literate friends have to keep busy!
