Some witty banter i read of a football rumours website [:)]

"In an effort to get out of League 1 at the first attempt and gain relegation to League 2, the politbureau at Norwich City will do nothing in particular until the first week of August when bids will be made for players who are either dead, retired, or have expressed a preference to have their fingernails pulled out to joining the forlorn and soon to be feathered up Canaries.

Frantic weeks of phone calls will commence at that time in order to secure at least twenty six players on loan, this will include out of favour Melchester Rovers forward Mervyn Wallace and veteran schoolboy Billy Dane. Norwich will also sign reserve team players from Swansea City, Carlisle and Notts County, before not even letting them try the club shirt on, much less play a game.

As for outgoings, the club will honour the release clause in Sammy Clingans contract which is whoever the Canaries pay £1 Million to first–Clinghan is though to be the first player to have a clause which is activated when his own club pay the fee, rather than the buying club.

Bryan Gunn will boost morale by saying that he gets regular phone calls from "Fergie" but it will turn out that the Fergie in question is Rangers skipper Barry Ferguson who keeps dialling the wrong number.

Norwich City–coming to a non–league ground near you soon"

Would have been more gigglesworthy if it had said it was Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas.

Sorry NCFCanary I was slow getting this on here, but thought it too good to miss !!

Another gem from the same site was talking about Sheffield United. It sounds like they are signing the sort of players we usually go for. !!!

All other transfers will be either freebies or loans. Norweigan striker Fug–Ing Ooseless will be signed on a free from valerenga, and the Swedish winger Lakof Payse should make the move to BL from helsingborg.

No worries 1st Wazzock, thought it was a must read for any Norwich supporter to hear the banter which is being thrown around on the web! If anyone else finds anything like this, feel free to post it on this thread for us all to read!

Anyone that Norwich could look at in the Scandinavian market like The Blades are doing? [;)]
