You simply need to click the compatibility mode icon (piece of paper) in the address bar for this site.

I am having problems running G Mail on IE 8.0-its fine on Firefox and Google Chrome (you''d expect it on the latter though), but won''t function at all on IE 8.0.

I suspect, mind, its part of a devious "plot" by Google to get people to migrate to their browser, or am I being paranoid!!?

I don''t particularly like Firefox either (most people do, I know) and would happily go onto IE 8.0 as my browser, but the fact I can''t E Mail is a bot of a bugger!

[:D] The latest Ubuntu is actually awesome - purely because it has default drivers for everything - wireless set up straight away, LAN set up straight away, Printers, game controllers. Totally agree. Linux might be so open, but it is getting increasingly user friendly and simple to use - plus, it''s completely customisable! Everything seen on windows can now basically be used in Linux too, plus there''s thousands of free programmes (largely open source) that do just as good a job as those on windows (open office, Banshee to name a couple) - good shizz!
