Possible Regionalisation of League's 1 & 2!

Recommended Posts

If it''s anything like the fiasco King''s Lynn faced last season, we''ll be placed in the Northern division playing the likes of Carlisle and Hartlepool on a Tuesday night.

I would suggest this is a proposal that suits the northern teams more than our good selfs. England is much wider in the south and we would still have long trips to Exeter, Torquay Bristol, Yeovil (I could go on).

And its nothing more than a money spinning idea to make the  FA richer with more play off matches  Wembley and rip off the fans to pay for the building of it

Felixfan : Back to the old 3rd division south.

BA: That would be great.....

TFA.: It would be a disaster for our northern based fans

[/quote]Yep, I''d be gutted by this - no matches under 3 hrous travel. [:''(]Notice that its Oldham and Carlisle suggesting it - as is pointed out in the article, the northern teams in league 1 & 2 are worse in general so it would make it easier for them to get promotion. As also pointed out, the southern and midland clubs wouldn''t agree, nor would the blue square prem, so it won''t happen.
