Mr.Carrow 376 Posted May 13, 2009 A glaring error in there stating that "in the last financial year wages were £8.5m". They were not. From Doncasters own figures they were £6.8m- and largely funded by the £3.5m clear transfer profit (amount received less amount spent on transfers in that financial year).The £8.5m figure comes from a ballpark figure stated by Doncaster as this years overall "player budget". I am willing to bet anyone £200 to the academy that next years accounts will not show player wages to be £8.5m or above. My guess is they`ll be about the same as last year.
