Spartan 0 Posted May 13, 2009 Just witnessed Delia & Michael''s interview on local news and one word sums it up....''PATHETIC''. ''What are your reasons for appointing Bryan Gunn as permanent manager of NCFC?'' Delia (the gist at least): ''Well....you know....we had a chat with Bryan and his team and liked some of their ideas. They came in at the tale end of things last season, and its only fair they have a chance to try again.'' Michael: ''The last thing we need at this time is a revolving door of people coming and going''. They both looked and sounded totally out of touch with the situation, and couldn''t even respond honestly and fluently to a simple but crucial question. The fact is they were absolutely clueless, and continue to grasp at straws. Their body language was negative, there was no sense of being upbeat and looking forward with optimism, just a very frightened and clueless pair of ''hasbeens''. There was no acknowledgement of their part in the NCFC demise, and no sense of ambition for the future. Make no mistake, this club is now totally rudderless, with a clueless frightened board, and equally clueless and inexperienced management team. The clowns that still insist on ''giving them a chance'' must take considerable responsibility for today''s announcement, which has set the club back even further, and makes a rapid return to the Championship almost impossible. I would like to be proven wrong, but am realistic enough to know that whilst the current board and manager remains in place, the only way is down. Talk about a missed opportunity! Mr. Bump 0 Posted May 13, 2009 You''re exactly right.Awww Bryan only had half a season. Lets give him a full one out of sympathy in his failure. Just so we can be double sure he really is shite.

Tangible Fixed Assets anyone? 0 Posted May 13, 2009 And whose fault is it that we have a revolving door re the football manager? Please, please somebody save this club............
canaryfan68 0 Posted May 13, 2009 After her debacle at the end of the season saying football has sold its soul to money shows how out of touch this pair are in the modern game. Well done to Burnley for getting into the play off final and for Stoke for staying in the Premiership when so many on here lambasted their style of football. Shame really when we have so many gutless performances and poor football that we put up with utter garbage but ready to knock teams for showing passion and working on shoestring budgets. 0ridgemanddMMyyyy0Falseen-USTrue 0 Posted May 13, 2009 Totally agree with Mr Bump, Gunn had 19 games total points available 57 points gained 20 which equals 48 in a season. As for all the rubbish about it wasn''t Gunns team surely the mark of a good manager is to get the best out of what you have after all Roeder (and I dont want him back) got us out of the bottom three with most of Grants team. The interview just summed up why we are in the position we are two clueless people in the world of football. canaryfan68 0 Posted May 13, 2009 If that was Delia being happy that she has got their man for the role I''d hate to see when she was miserable. Just shows how much they know and care about football that they appoint an inexperienced manager with a backroom staff with as much experience as himself. Stevie Wonder has more vision than this board (no disrespect Mr Wonder)Mr Wynn Jones is pathetic when saying we have interviewed over 50 managers for this role recently, well if the best you can come up with is Roeder, Grant and Gunn that really does sum this board up. Next we''ll be told Gerald Ratner was considered too.....lolWell done to Ipswich who decided on who they wanted and went for him,we just had a lucky dip bucket to choose from. Marvellous!!
