Jonny Grounds
Boro fan here, just wondered what you all made of Grounds when he was at Norwich this season?
Looks shaky at centre half at times. Chipped in with a couple of goals though.
Was he played at centre back for you? he''s a left back.....
Yes, we were very short on centre backs at the time, I''m aware he plays left back for yourselves, guessing that''s why he looked shaky.

I think he will be a good player in the Championship for you if you go down. Would love to see you stay up though.

Ah right, he hasnt had a look in since he came back, not even on the bench and to be honest, id play him over our other left back, Andrew Taylor.

i thought he was pretty * tbh apart from a few goals he seemed to look really awkward all the time, might be decent in league 1 though

Made a few mistakes but overall showed real quality. Admittedly some of his team mates were a poor yardstick but I think he would have been a regular had he stayed - if only for his goals!

Didn''t think he was any better than what we already had, to be honest. Better at home than he was away, when he went awol a lot. I wouldn''t have him back, even in League One - think Drury is a better defender.

I''m convinced he was awful in the back four while defending. Concerningly prone to making vital mistakes, and doesn''t track back that often. In that department he is far from quality. However, his one saving grace is that he is effective in the oppositions box, and does score goals quite often from those areas.Perhaps being a target man would be a more suitable role for the lad?

looked quality at times but at other times his inexperience came through and he made mistakes. Looked steadier at full back but i feel with more experience and once he''s put on more weight he''ll become a very good centre back
