Who I would sign so far......

Recommended Posts

Out of the names thrown into the hat (the speculation has already started I see) I would welcome the following players:-

ST -  Billy Clarke (FREE)

ST - Alan Lee (Nominal Fee)

LB - Ian Harte (FREE)

RB - Marc Edworthy (FREE) - Yes really, I would welcome steady Eddy for a year if he believes he still has it in him, would make a great captain.

Edworthy, Lee and Clarke on free''s would be immense.I think left back is covered to some extent with Drury (if his op goes well) and Lappin.

To be fair Chris Martin spent alot of time at Luton playing on the right wing so the comparison isn''t entirely fair however I do agree he would be a good signing on a free.

I am not sure about Edworthy.  Could he still cut it or would he just disappoint us and sully the esteem we hold him in?

We could sign him until January...... with a view to making it the full season. Thats the same deal that he has had with Leicester, they asked him to stay on in January.

Would do not harm as a back up, we only have Otsemober, and if Eddy is willing to come to potentially be out of the team then I cant see the problem.
