if I promise to behave 0 Posted May 9, 2009 Nothing on official site yet. Not long to 18th May, so would have expected it to have been announced there by now.
valiant 5 Posted May 9, 2009 better then some random dutch teams :P
Shaun Tilly Lace 0 Posted May 9, 2009 Even if it''s a team of Fergie''s also-rans it would be worth going to. Expect plenty of Norfolk Manure fans to be there.

Season ticket seats kept until 18 june.[/quote]oh how absolutely super! that means we can have 15000 local Man U glory hunters attending instead of the 15000 Spurs fans that attended last seasons friendly. And they will put out half a side which will embaress us as City fans much the same as Spurs did, but at least the club will trouser some more lovely cash. Looking forward to it already, as much as Doncaster''s statement that all profit made will go to paying his wages, oh no I mean towards new players.
Mutley 0 Posted May 9, 2009 I find this slightly worrying. Not from the point of you of entertaining Man Utd. Lets face it, its gonna generate a lot of cash, however sir Alex and Gunny are relatively good friends (ok that might be stretching it, but you get the drift) Maybe this is an indication that Gunny is gonna get the nod and is already pulling favours??? Thoughts???

Anyway, isn''t June a bit early for a preseason friendly?
Graham Humphrey 13 Posted May 9, 2009 No way will it be in June. I could be generous and assume it was a typo and he meant July...
valiant 5 Posted May 9, 2009 good thought mutley....hope not.......he can organise all the friendlies he wants as long as he is nowhere near the managers position

Inch High aka Inchy.. 405 Posted May 9, 2009 The transfer window doesn''t open until June so I would be very suprised to see a pre-season friendly in June.

if I promise to behave 0 Posted May 9, 2009 Ginger Pele: The OP said that tickets go on sale on 18th May. That is why I was sceptical. The Official Site usually announce games long before tickets are available.
James Kent 0 Posted May 9, 2009 Are we sure this isn''t a game for the youth team.
if I promise to behave 0 Posted May 9, 2009 That''s much more likely, but I am still surprised that the Official Site isn''t milking it as it would be a bit of a scope.
