Our fellow relegated clubs seem to be getting sorted.

From today''s Evening Standard:

Charlton to slash staff by up to 25

Charlton have confirmed they will make up to 25 redundancies as they prepare for life in League One.

The board completed a root and branch assessment of the club before announcing the departures.

Charlton will begin next season in the third tier of English football without the lucrative Premier League parachute payments they have been receiving for the past two seasons.

“It''s been a very difficult month, with a lot of unpleasant decisions having to be made,” said chief executive Steve Waggott.

“However, despite the current situation, I would like to put on record my appreciation for the hard work and efforts on behalf of the club by those staff affected, many of whom have contributed to the success of the club over many years.

“The cruellest part of the process is the impact on staff of elements largely beyond their control but the board must concentrate on the club''s core activities.”

At least their fans have some idea what''s going on.

Oh, and Southampton are willing to sell Rasiak for £700,000. Is he worth nearly twice as much as Marshall?

On second thoughts, perhaps he is............
