Norwich clearout of dead wood begins with Marshall; who is pulling the strings?

Recommended Posts

Glad to see Marshall on his way; cost us quite a few points during the season and didn''t ever live up to expectations. Hopefully quite a few more will follow, and any transfer money reinvested in permanent signings of players committed to the club and ambitious to get to the Championship and ultimately the Premiership (no harm in dreaming). Rather worryingly it looks as if a few major decisions are already being made, and if our excuse for a board is still pulling the strings then even more damage could be done in what is already a desperate situation for NCFC. When will we the fans be receiving some honest feedback on what is happening and what future plans are being made by a board that have already been exposed as totally incompetent? Surely they should have stood down by now, and appointed a manager to replace the affable but ineffective Gunn? The board have learnt nothing, and remain determined to keep fans in the dark; same old spin, same outcome. What a bleak outlook.

exactly right until the current regime have gone we have a bleak future.  Interesting that on the appointment of Gunn & Co it was announced they were in the job until summer.  It has now come to public attention that Crook has an 18 month contract.

Spin, lies & deceit and until our fans elect to take positive action (hopefully soon) and make our feelings known we have a very grim future as a club.  Delia & Co must go for this football club to move forwards

I don''t think there is anything to be read into Marshall leaving. He and his agent have obviously expressed their desire not to play in L1 and so the move is fait accomplit in the modern climate. Even if we fancied keeping him, who wants a player who doesn''t want to be here.

The board are sitting on their hands regarding other decisions until they see the results from St Andrews Hall as to how much they''ll be allowed to get away with. The minimum outcome of the night will be a resolution to report back that the fans most definitely will not accept Bryan Gunn as permanent manager.

We have had  a long line of top class keepers at this club, in my view Marshall didn''t feature in that list.

I think Cardiff will find out next season the reason that he was Scotlands number 3.

Delia & Co must not go unless there is someone better and with more money to take their place else the club could be the next Oxford, Notts County, Luton etc.
