ndhscanary 0 Posted May 3, 2009 I picked this up from 606 but has anyone else noticed that the three teams who went for the cheap option ended up going down. Obviously we went for Gunn, Charlton got Parkinson and Southampton have had Mark Wotte and Jan Poortvliet. Just shows that he cheap option should not be taken. Forest and Plymouth who both stayed up had good experienced managers in Sturrock and Davies and they have both clearly played a big part in helping their respective teams stay up

canaryfan68 0 Posted May 3, 2009 You get what you pay for in this life apart and we tried to short change ambition. We have got exactly what we deserved and shouldn''t feel any different for it. We have paid top wages for players and a chief executive but have gone to the thrift shop for a manager!!
