First Wazzock 902 Posted May 4, 2009 City''s joint majority shareholder admitted she was “deeply, deeply hurt and sad and upset”, but claimed the game had “sold itself” to money.Only partly true. It''s just a shame that the current board have wasted shed loads of cash on poor decisions, but that is what you get when the board have NO experience of football.Queen D, MWJ, Mumbles and Doncaster hang your heads in shame. mrdi 373 Posted May 4, 2009 She''s been out of touch for years. I''m still mildly enraged whenever I remember her "wouldn''t it be fun if Little Norwich stayed in the Premiership with the big boys" [or words to that effect] comment on the BBC during the latter stages of the 2004-5 season. Now and then, it''s fine to daydream a bit, wishing things were idealistic and ''nice'', as in the old days. But it''s catastrophic to do it while running a football club. Two relegations in 4 years for a club who were CHAMPIONS just one year earlier - in the way it''s come about - it''s just criminal.
