DEL123 0 Posted May 4, 2009 Bryan Gunn wants the players to go away for the summer and come back and look him in the eye and tell him if they want to play in league one next season.Firstly, I doubt very much that any one coming back after the summer will not be reporting to Mr Gunn, and secondly why should they have the choice. They should be told they will be playing league one football net season. Will be interesting to see how many of the players the club actually owns will be here to represent the club next season. I fancy there may be quite a few who will abandon ship to pastures new... and in fairness it may be a good thing to start completely afresh.....but hey...i thought we would be at least in the play offs this season, how wrong can one be

Blofield Canary 11 Posted May 4, 2009 Based on what iwitnessed yesterday I would tell most of them to pack their bags, F off on holiday and don''t come back. Of yesterdays team (assuming Clingan is sold) I would only want the Doc, MacDonald, Corey-Smith and Lee anywhere near Carrow Road next season. Can''t wait to see the back of Marshall who is one of the worst keepers to ever play for us. Otsemobor is not good enough for the conference and should be shown the door due to his attitude, lazyness and general lack of any ability.

They should feel like complete morons and be disgusted that they fell into the emotional trapdoor, something NCFC loves - make no mistake, we appointed Gunn on the back of one 4-0 caretaker game in charge and his daughters group on bloody Facebook. You have no money so you can only appoint within and Gunn will be given a two year deal I would put money on it!!
Row D Seat 7 0 Posted May 4, 2009 I''d love Gunn and family to just cut all ties with Norwich.
Mr. Bump 0 Posted May 4, 2009 Give them 2 MONTHS to decide. Then when they leave we have less than a month to re-build = panic loans [:D]

Paul Spector 0 Posted May 4, 2009 At the end of the day we don''t want players here that don''t want to be - that would end up in passionless displays like yesterday.
Row D Seat 7 0 Posted May 4, 2009 I just hope we buy the right players for League 1, it will be a scrap so we need hard B*stards to get us back with the odd flair player.
Carlos Valderrama 0 Posted May 4, 2009
I''d love Gunn and family to just cut all ties with Norwich.
Up yours mate. Gunn was a special player with unique ties to the club. I like him a lot and still want him in and around the club. Agree with everyone else though, not in the managers seat. Aidy Boothroyd or Steve Tilson please...
canaryfan68 0 Posted May 4, 2009 Gunn was a good keeper and no more than that, Chris Woods was a better keeper but was sold to Rangers. I respect Gunn for what he has been personally but get away from the emotional ties because that was the mistake made before. Get the best person for the job and not the cheapest or closest person to the club!!
Fromage Frais 10 Posted May 4, 2009 Gunn is a nice guy and Norwich through and through. The season was screwed not by him so I will thank him for holding the patients hand whilst they died.League 1 will be a specialist job I want a manager who knows the players the teams and tactics down there I want us to get rid and then build a young hungry team from lower league telent. For this it means a change not of the whole boot room maybe just the manager Mark Robins seems a good shout for me. JJ 0 Posted May 4, 2009 I hoped it would work for Gunny, but the cracks have shown the last half a dozen games. They were papered over with all the fuss about the refereeing decisions which even though they went against us (and in the end, may not have mattered) were used as too much of an excuse. The 2nd half against Ipswich is a case in point in which we didn''t turn up and also didn''t take advantage of a side that were playing men way out of position. Nobody really noticed because of the penalty hoo-ha.Good goalie, good charity raiser, and good bloke, but he shouldn''t have been in charge in the first place. Even if we had stayed up, I didn''t want him in charge next season. Looked a broken man yesterday, but he''s a tough guy and I don''t think he''ll want lots of sympathy - he knows there''s worse things in life.
