Sadly true, cos the pompous cow won''t step aside.  Despite what she has said, about leaving if the right buyer is found,  she startegically publicised the fact she wouldn''t sell to anyone without NCFC at heart which reduced any potential buyers taking an interest.

Meaning she "came across" as willing to go knowing full well that noone would now come forward.
