Row D Seat 7 0 Posted May 4, 2009 Its pathetic how everyone was like ''yeah i''ll be there'' etc. Yet none of them have the b ollocks to actually turn up and have a voice. We are dead in the water. The club sucks from top to bottom.

Jack Flash 13 Posted May 4, 2009 Perhaps there was never going to be one - is Smudger Smith aka Delia? Its all a wind up. Come on Histon! Now there''s something to get excited about - an all Cambridge Final at Wembley.
CambridgeCanary 0 Posted May 4, 2009
there are now countless dead and many more injured, the place now resembles beirut and the BBC have flown Orla Guerin in to report....jas :)
A rare slip Jas. Someone as truly stupid as you pretend to be would have no idea who Orla Guerin was except perhaps as that plain Irish bird wot does the wars for the news....Kate somethinglol

No Quarter 0 Posted May 4, 2009 I went along, stayed for about 10 minutes and left. Terrible. Why did people not join in after the Reading game??
Thecanaryfan 0 Posted May 4, 2009

Please say this is true!!!
the tear gas has come out now, and the fans are fighting the police along Carrow Bridge, the barclay is ablaze and theres a burning effigy of Delia outside the car parkjas :)
Oh my god they''ve dispatched the riot police and they''re armed with rubber rubber bullets. Its like the G20 summit all over again. Police brutality has born its ugly head once more.
Buzz Killington 0 Posted May 4, 2009 Maybe the ''majority'' on here who believe they represent the views of most of the fans, are not quite the majority they think they are?!
TheFineCity 0 Posted May 4, 2009
Maybe the ''majority'' on here who believe they represent the views of most of the fans, are not quite the majority they think they are?!
Probably right but then what does that say about the majority of our fans? I read yet another good post by the big feller over on the wrath yesterday where he remarked Norwich City is a football club run by idiots for idiots, which sums it up rather well in my eyes. Mister Chops 7 Posted May 4, 2009 Perhaps we need to start a facebook group, apparently the board listen to those.http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=44304287625&ref=ts

TheFineCity 0 Posted May 4, 2009 By the way from a quick scan and from memory there doesnt seem to be more than 10 to 15 people who said they were going to be there anyway so if 35-50 turned up then surely the majority who said they would be there, were there. It''ll be more interesting at 4.30 when this Q and A thing with some of the board members happens and hopefully some decent questions are asked of them. Cantiaci Canary 556 Posted May 4, 2009
Maybe the ''majority'' on here who believe they represent the views of most of the fans, are not quite the majority they think they are?!
Exactly! These message boards can distort your assumptions about the fan base. I was squirming in my seat yesterday hearing people all around me saying things such as "ah! Delia you''ve got to feel for her she has done so much for the club", "It all went wrong when they stopped playing Fotheringham we were doing fine until then", "at least we will be winning lots of games next year I''m looking forward to that" ... and to images of Delia on the screen "at least we''ve still got Delia". The truth is that most Norwich fans are docile, sleepy, conservative folk who go to Carrow Road as part of their plodding routine. The type of fan who contributes/reads message boards belongs to a minority group.

If people are happy to see there football club crumble before there eyes then it will crumble, it''s as simple as that.
Branston Pickle 3,638 Posted May 4, 2009 I''m kind-of glad that not much came of it - I don''t really think a protest is particularly necessary, since it is patently clear to anyone and everyone from supporter to Board member that things have gone tits-up and huge scale change is needed. IMO a load of people chanting (or worse), giving the media pictures of people they would then miss-class as hooligans, was not really going to make that much difference and would only be used to show the club''s supporters in a bad light. kdncfc 0 Posted May 4, 2009
Maybe the ''majority'' on here who believe they represent the views of most of the fans, are not quite the majority they think they are?!
I think the majority do share the views of the protesters but most of them just can''t be arsed, it sounded like there were plenty of loud chants against the board both at the Valley and at yesterdays beamback. If there was 40 or 50 turned up today I take my hat off to them for at least caring enough to go down there and make their feelings known. Anyone who defends the board are defending the indefensible as far as I''m concerned, there is no worthwile reason why they deserve to be defended.
Ren 75 Posted May 4, 2009 The best protest would be for people not to turn up to the thing in the first place!! Same as if the away end had emptied yesterday when the third went in!
Canary Pirate 0 Posted May 4, 2009

Protestors numbered 35.
i await smudgers post... jas :)
Jas, I just can''t stop laughing at your demonstration reports. Following yesterdays rants I thought there was going to be a 10 mile radius exclusion zone around Norwich. Whilst I respect those trying to oust the board for the future of this club I''m sorry I just can''t be doing with it. I have lots more other stuff going on in my life but I am no less passionate, I''m just different ( oh no I think I must be a " happy clapper " ). I still can''t stop laughing !!![:)][:D][:''(]

Jim Smith 2,314 Posted May 4, 2009 Apparently Doncaster has entered the forum escorted by 3 security guards and the crowd were chanting you''re not fit to run our club at him!
Evil Monkey 52 Posted May 4, 2009 I would imagine that a good number of people are trying to simply take stock of what has happened to this club... knee-jerk reactions are all well and good but I try to avoid them these days, I''m bald enough as it is without tearing my own hair out. There''s also the fact that a seemingly greater number of people who don''t agree with the way the club''s been run also don''t agree with protest as a means of solving the problem.I think the whole saga is only just beginning to sink in, I was pretty numb yesterday - didn''t help being in a house with two Ipshit fans for the day! Didn''t really feel like talking about it, funnily enough..............
