Spartan 0 Posted May 5, 2009 Gunny is a lovely old boy and has always managed to wangle some sort of a job in the club; he was in the right place at the right time when a desperate board made their usual cheap and cynical move and appointed a total novice as manager. If its not working with Shearer its certainly not going to work with the odd job man. Harsh, cruel...but fact. Lets move quickly, if possible take the decision right out of the board''s hands, and appoint a creditable and dynamic young manager who has something to prove and has the knowledge and ability to get us straight back to the championship. He needs to be in place within the next two weeks if possible with an entirely new board.
