Ali Dia 0 Posted April 27, 2009 Tonight was the last chance saloon. A lot of huff and puff early on, but no creativity, and no real threat. Cody looked lively, Lee put himself about well, and the defence did well early on.Then Shackell decided to twice turn his back on Shane Long and was punished both times. Otsemobor decided not to shut down both crosses that led to that, and when he did get forward as per usual stopped and retreated, and over-ran the ball on the rare occassion he did decideto continue heading forward.Clingan worked hard. Russell was non existant. Gow did nothing but run into players and looks far too frail to be a footballer. All in all, effort yes, but nothing to show why we deserve to stay in this league.
