HOWEVER!!Now how many of you are radio norfolk listeners?? maybe go to the odd game ? Norwich and peterboro'' season ticket holders? well we are all norwich fans no matter what, but some of you are really letting yourselves down. hang on... not just yourselves... but your club...firstly.... the subject of Bryan gunn....and how he shouldnt be manager blah blah blah and i think i have even seen some of you people bringing his daughter melissa into it!, jesus guys get a grip!, no he hasnt got experience.... BUT... he is the right man for the job!, he has great leadership qualities... and the most important thing is... he is a true norwich fan!!! did alex ferguson have experiece when he started out ? arsene wenger? no!, I will be honest with you .... I didnt actually want gunny as manager.... do you know why...? well for this very reason!, seriously guys, im not kidding u, this forum make me ashamed to be a city fan sometimes!...... he is a legend and i knew if we didnt stay up SOME of the good ole norwich fans would do there normal thing and find a scape goat! (and remember where we were and the positon we were in when he took over)yeah i was yelling tonight, saying throw another forward on!!!even jamie cureton!, also i did wonder why shackell came off.... and semi stayed on.. maybe some of you radio norfolk listeners could help me out there? did neil say he was injured??? however i have sat watched england games and thought the same, and capello isnt a bad manager is he ? that may sounds slightly daft... but id like to see some of us try and manage the team that roeder bl00dy left us with !! AND keep us up... i dont think gunn has done a bad job at all. Roeder ripped the heart and soul of norwich city out !we are all entilted to our opinion dont get me wrong, but please dont let the club down by stupid comments!, he is a true legend!the one note i will agree is that delia should sell up. HOWEVER! BIG FACTOR... we need to have someone come in and be able to afford to buy us!, Cullum has done an awful lot of talking... thanks to the EDP! but has he actually put in an offer? No i dont think he has ? I could be wrong ?We have a massive game on our hands sunday!, where we need to all pray that we win, and plymouth do us a favor but stranger things have happend!, but we are in this mess because of Roeder, and the players that he brought in!. IF we go down... and I use the work IF!!! we should stick with Gunn, bring back spillane, sell clingan (which is gonna happen no doubt about it) and bring in alan lee and maybe shackell... send back those loan players.... and start a fresh.. and u know what i believe we will have a very good side... bring in some of the acadamy players 2!Sorry to those on the pinkun forum who actually talk sense... but this blog will not be about u.... but those that this is intended for will know who you are! We are a very well supported club, sell over 17,000 season tickets.... but there is a large amount of fans that just let us down! and it would be nice for it to change! Helsinki canary 240 Posted April 28, 2009 I cannot understand why people think either Butterworth or Crook would be better as manager than Gunn, basically they are a team at the moment with Gunn the front man and motivator - its supposed to be Crook who is the tactician and specialist and Butterworth the coach - clearly the team have improved in some areas since their arrival - but neither of them have set the world alight - Crook has never been more than an assistant or a scout in a league that is on a par with league 1 - so if we are talking high level experience then there are not too many boxes being ticked with any of the 3 we have at present. Based on season ticket sales I am almost sure all 3 of them will be at the club come August kick off in league 1. Based on the fact that our only future is to re-build from within through the youth system and a few old heads - maybe these guys could do a job in league 1 - lets hope so because its our destiny. Boris 56 Posted April 28, 2009 Its not only Gunn the problem.Simply last seasons all work wrong and now we find result of all this and we without doubt is worst team in this league.Its not rebuilding and thinking for the future bring all the time 6 to 8 loan players most of them tottally shit.How espect to have spirit to fight with starters 9 from 11 or even more that not have contract for the future or even for them is better we to down to change more izi this club?I watch last night game and secund half we even not try any to shoot on target and that is most imp game since while.only |Clingan and Doc look like players Mcdonald also some spirit and all others simply pathetick look like Conference players.Lee big lol what this man doing its better to bring in attack Robert Fleck now and im sure will be more treat.Rusty?evry touch to ball is short pass for him.Semmy ?who say this boy that he is deffender lol he not blocked any cross all the time.Shack izi outplayed from man who need markingwhat team we have to blame Gunn who is here from 1-2 months az manager?Simply all work was wrong since Roeder brung all the time loan players etc.We not have good enough players also we even not have own players to make starting 11 .big pity for the fans full carra and the city but we not have team, players, board so future is dark for sure...hope im wrong. Bryan Gunn is a great bloke, but since he hung up his gloves he has run the Commercial Department, been Sherriff of Norwich, raised loads of charity money, hosted many golf days, "glad handed" the corporates at in the N&P boxes, been in charge of player recruitment at a time when we didn''t seem to recruit any and finally took over as manager when we couldn''t afford a real one and didn''t want to appoint anyone beyond the end of the season. None of this qualifies him as a football club manager. The only thing that might quaify him for a "Trainee Manager" role would be coaching badges - but oh dear, he hasn''t even got them!
