XXL16 0 Posted November 2, 2004 Green 5, really want to know did Greeno already agree "something" with "someone"? Or he had lots of pressure after was named in the England squad? He looked lost during the game! I must say after his superb performance in the Spurs game, and he started to drop his performance. Don''t think about leave us in January anymore but you can see our squad, we sign 2 international goalkeepers and we have Joe Lewis turned pro last week, you know it''s coming. Edworthy 8, I said he was liked playing the whole right flank by his own, especially in the first half; okay every of his crosses find no yellow shirt''s head but don''t forget, MC had Distin and Dunne, both 6 ft and excellent in the air. Never put a foot wrong and hope you can see his decision making to pass, or to dribble, or to change of pace, this is what Thomas Helveg MUST learn from him. I cannot believe he was fouled at least 3 times in the opposition half, was he a right-back or right wing?Brennan 6, first half was poor but second half was better, also he was the man who pump the long ball up and we scored with the chaos in the box. We miss Drury definitely since Jimbo was not doing the overlap, to pull off the attention of the MC defenders, so Hucks was always had 2 men on him and for some reasons, Hucks didn''t take them on!Fleming 6, struggled against Wright-Phillips''s pace and what a hand-ball on the goalline, but not spotted by the referee! Solid at the back when the high balls came in.Charlton 7, passing was improved, at least he found Hucks with a few long pass, since in last few games his passes had nobody to read it, Fleming''s handball was caused by a bit of his hesitation at the start of the play. Show a bit of experience against Flood at the second half, as a few studs-showing sliding tackle to scare the youngster, you definitely feel Simon''s anger inside! Fortunately we were playing against a poor-form Anelka so he was not tested much.Jonson 4, gave the ball away 5 times in the first half in a quite frustrated fashion, especially when I saw him coming inside, and tired to pass the ball by his left foot, as nobody read his pass, and nobody made the run, and easily, we were wasted two chances to attack, or got the corner. I understand it was not time to blame or criticise anyone but what I saw Jonson on the pitch was, he was definitely not the kind of player who can run with the ball on the wing! Consider his height, also a few times he can win the from the corner, why Nigel did not put him to play in center forward? Alright you may say he was not the center forward but his first touch, honestly was a bit better than Svensson yesterday, also a good manager, should use his player''s STRENGTH, and cover his player''s weakness. I did not recall Jonson had beaten any left backs during his short spell at Norwich, so if you still want to play him because he''s our new signing, can we adjust a bit?Huckerby 5, I really hate to see Huckerby pass back to Brennan everytime, especially in the second half, but he was up against the younger and quicker than him Flood, and more aggressive than him Mills, he cannot beat both. If Hucks did not take his man on, plus he was a bit lazy to come back to defend, he was just looked like a very simple, Premiership player, not a star. Please remember, we were not playing the First Division now, we were in the Premiership, and we were 19th of the league! Time to roll our sleeves up to do something! Again when Hucks was off, we were off.Francis 8, MOTM. Noone disagree as the all action midfielder was brilliant in both halves of the field, although in the ideal world, he should have put more of his shots on target, but you have to say, he was always at the right place at the right time, of course the goal I said. The HK commentator praised him so much. Thanks God we sign him up until 2008 so if any clubs want to buy him, they must give lots of money! Holt 6, passed some hospital balls
