We''ve looked better when Russell suspended, i''d bench him, Carney left side and Gow central behind front 2

I''d actuully start with Cureton - yeah i know slate away - but when he has a decent big lad along side he does get goals & Macdonald i''d bring on at the 60minute mark

We looked best with Gow and Mooney up front and Russell in the middle.  And this from a fan that thinks Rusty is light years beyond his best;   he is a better option than Lappin,  not good either but the best option we have.   Croft remains far from fit so dont think we can start with him,  and has looked worse than Carney.

For Reading I would start

Marshall

Ots Doc Shax Drury

Carney  Rusty Clingan Betrand

        Gow Lee

Subs

Nelson, MacDonald, Lappin, Adeyemi, Daley

For me Carney has offered nothing recently.

Lol!!  Nor has lappin clingan or croft!!!  So I agree its a case of take you pick from the midfield incompetents!   Croft injured is a passenger though.

Alternatively why not abandon midfield altogether and play 6-0-4 - we play better when by passing the midfield!

Where is the back up striking power on the bench? Poor Daley, alot would rest on his shoulders.

We can only hope that whichever eleven take to the field v Reading, that they are up for the game, and show passion and committment. We have seen far too many limp-wristed, feeble performances in recent seasons. It''s not so much the defeats that hurt, it''s the manner in which we arrive at that depressing outcome on so many occasions! We simply don''t deserve to win in a lot of matches.
