Bomber 48 Posted September 19, 2003 I see that Crouch''s good start has not gone unnoticed at Villa Park where O''leary is stating that he wants him back and that was always probably their intention with Villa doing so poorly. This is the only problem with loan signings in that if they do well the clubs either want them back or the transfer fee rises considerably or if they do not do the stuff whilst on loan then they are sent packing by Norwich anyway so invariably either way they will not be staying. Citys best bet is to return the loanees if in fact that is the only option and start using the next three months to identify any one of the hundreds of players who are not playing for their clubs in order to bring them in so the good work achieved does not go to waste after December.
