Clive OliverHis last 3 Norwich games were all extremely pants ones for us (Leicester away last season, Charlton at home in the cup and Blackpool away this season).Also his son Michael sent Doherty off at Forest this season.

All I ask is that he does not make a match changing decision that''s wrong.

 Referees making mistakes have cost us dear this year.

Nice bloke.  Clive Oliver from Northumberland - investigator for bogus claims on the motor insurance industry.

Father of Michael and the only Father/Son refs on the professional list in the history of it.

Secret of reffing (courtesy of the Newcastle Journal):  "Staying calm, man management in sometimes hothouse situations, give and take banter, keep a sense of humour if you can."

His lad had a good game against Forest. Doherty was last man and had to go but the Lineo flaged for a pen but the ref stayed strong and gave a free kick!
