Dont give up on the lads!

Recommended Posts

I think Barnsley will draw with Coventry and Wolves putting them on 49.

Plymouth will lose to QPR and be on 50.

We will draw with Reading so on 47 with the best goal difference.

If we won on the last day then we would definately stay up because barnsley and plymouth couldnt both get over 50 points, with inferior goal difference.

Keep the faith, you never know!

because if at that point

Barnsley - 49pts

Plymouth 50pts

and us on 47pts going into the last game. If we win and end up on 50pts, whatever the outcome on their game neither team could go and end up on over 50 point as a draw would mean we finish above barnsley on goal diff, and a win for either side would mean we would finish above the other either on goal diff for plymouth losing or by 1 pt if barnsley lose.
Why would we definitely stay up?
because what ever the result we would be safe.

Plymouth win - Barnsly on 49 points. Us on 50.

Draw - Plymouth 51, Barnsly 50. us on 50 Better Goal difference.

Barnsly win - Plymouth 50 points. Us on 50 with a better Goal difference.

(this would only work if we draw against Reading, and Beat Charlton)

and Barnsly get two points or less from their nexts two games, with Plymouth getting zero.

True, but if we play like we did against Cardiff, Watford and Birmingham then there is a good chance that we will get the 4 points that I think will keep us up.

Good. If you''re gonna come back with this attitude every time after putting up a ''decent'' fight. I''d hate to see the attitude you come back with after a pathetic excuse of a derby performance.

Cor blimey.....

FYI the main reason im not going again is because we''ll probably never play them again....

Good, you won’t be missed.

The first half we battled, and deserved a point. Something we normally don’t. (if you''ve been to some of the away games this season you would understand.)

Second half we were poor, and deserved nothing. Yes their penalty was soft, and shouldn''t have counted but in all honesty; they were the better side.

but at the end of the day; whatever league my football club finds themselves in, i won’t ever stop giving my support. Because I can’t.

That was a decent fight. A major improvement on last year infact. I always felt we could push forward and get something today. Last year, as soon as their second goal went in, you knew it was over. We did absolutely nothing.
Delia loves folk like you. That isnt a dig because I''m in that same bracket (got my S.T for next season already ordered). The difference is people will still clap and cheer her as if she''s doing good.
