Darlo dumplin’ 0 Posted April 6, 2009 For quite a while it''s seemed highly likely that our fate this season will be determined on the last day of the season. As fate has it the last day fixtures include a number of the bottom clubs playing one another. Would we really wish for Southampton to go to Forest on that last day in the region of 10 points adrift and with nothing but pride to play for when Forest will very likely need something from that game themselves? YankeeCanary 0 Posted April 6, 2009 You mean similar to the circumstances that existed for Norwich and Sheffield Wednesday last Saturday?.
Gibbo 131 Posted April 6, 2009 Surely it''s swings and roundabouts... if Southampton are still in with a shout, then there''s as much chance of them sending us down as Forest...
Canary02 III 0 Posted April 7, 2009 If Southampton keep up their current form I doubt it will make any difference by the last day anyway, 10 point deduction or not.
