LENGTH: 88 words

NORWICH City are ready to make a move to sign Barnet goal machine John O''Flynn.

The 26-year-old has scored 18 times for the Bees this season and has caught the eye of a number of Championship clubs.

Both Ipswich and Watford have been monitoring the Irishman''s progress, while Norwich boss Bryan Gunn was at Underhill to watch the forward during Tuesday night''s win against Rotherham.

[/quote]1 in 2 at league 2 level.  Permanent deal.  Cheap as not youngster, barnet need to sell and unproven at this level. Why not?A front line of Lee, Gow, MacDonald, O''Flynn and Martin would look quite good next year IMO.  This is reliant on signing Lee (older and unwanted at Palace) and Gow (£300k was quoted in summer and january, Rangers look prepared to sell) of course.

I watched him when he was at Cork City (lived there for a year) he didn''t really live upto his expectation at the time so has hopefully matured. It was him and Gearge o''callaghan (sp?) upfront, O''callaghan ended up at Ipswich i think and wore white boots, thats all i remember of him!

That would be a good set of players to choose from. And the best bit is - if we signed them then they''d actually be our players! We might actually be investing in a squad here!
