Yorkshire Canary 118 Posted April 12, 2009 We are most probably planning for league 1 now and if we survive now it will be a surprise though possible still. If we go down i think in reality we will not be able to afford fees for any new players. The loans will disappear and when you take out the discontented , out of contract and players that will be snapped up [ Clingan ] then i recken we will only have a first team squad of @ 8 plus the youngsters. This will bring the wage bill down significantly but that will be offset in large part by the brave but possibly silly decision to return 20% back to all season ticket holders if we go down which will probably add up to about £1.5 million give or take a bit. What does this all add up to ? well we could still be pleasantly surprised by a youthfull squad of Norwich city players playing at a weaker level, we may see some green shoots of recovery but dont expect an immediate promotion

Mello Yello 2,280 Posted April 12, 2009 .....and we''ll probably still have a CEO with the healthiest salary in the 3rd Division....Sorry, the 1st Division - (as it is now, commonly known).....Still, on a positive note, we should get more of a feature on the Championship, as every team we come up against will treat it as their Cup-Final.... lucky green trainers 0 Posted April 12, 2009 whichever league beckons - the first priority of the board will be to return to profitability once more...still - if we are in league 1 - the much vaunted ''prem ambition'' will be put to bed for a decent stretch...[:|]
